What should you do if you have audio problems?

You can get help by logging in 15 minutes early, but otherwise try the following steps first:

Check which audio setting you have selected in Teams or Zoom. Is the channel set to headset or your computer’s speaker?
Make sure your computer, smartphone, or tablet is not muted.
Turn up the volume on your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
If it still doesn’t work, log out of the meeting and log in again.

Remember to mute yourself so your microphone is on mute, except when you are speaking or asking questions.

 

What can you do to ensure good audio?
We recommend that you use a headset with a microphone for a more optimal sound experience. You can easily use your computer’s speakers or a pair of earphones. The advantage of a headset is that it blocks out background noise and has a built-in microphone, which is useful when you want to ask questions during the course.
