If you cannot get a grant for your skills development through competence funds, and your company cannot cover all course expenses, you can personally contribute to paying for all or part of your skills development via your gross salary. This requires that your company is enrolled in a gross salary scheme.
This scheme offers advantages for both employer and employee:
- The course becomes cheaper for the employee, as the payment is deducted from the employee’s salary before tax.
- The payment can be divided into smaller installments paid via future salary.
- The employer can send employees on courses at no extra cost and ensure happy and skilled employees.
